I love studying in the summer and preparing for the upcoming AP courses! I will be taking 5 this year so any suggestions for the following courses would be great! I’m definitely a “Princeton girl” so I will be buying the new editions in August. I’ve never been a huge fan of Barron’s, but if you feel that it really helped please let me know! Thanks in advance!
I’m taking all of these courses except Stats in a classroom setting.
AP Lit
AP Spanish Lang
AP US Gov
AP Stats (online course)
AP Calc BC
AP LIT- you can’t really study for this. I found that prepping for the SAT using the blue book drastically increased my AP Lang and Lit skills (I got 5s in both). If anything just use the blue book for multiple choice practice and hopefully your teacher will make you write alot of essays.
AP Spanish Lang- haven’t taken this one. However if there’s a 5 Steps to a 5 for it I’d recommend it. 5 Steps has been good usually for all the APs I took (except Calc BC, the 5 Steps for that is really bad). Also look into Barron’s (the green and white book). Princeton works as well.
AP US Gov- 5 Steps and Barron’s.
AP Stats- I don’t have experience with this one. I’d recommend either 5 steps/Barron’s and Princeton,
AP Calc BC- DO NOT GET 5 STEPS. It is seriously outdated for calc. Princeton is the best bet here.
