I transferred to FSU last year and am on pace to grauate next Spring. The only problem is, I already have scheduled all the requirements for graduation (40 hrs 3000/4000 level, etc.) EXCEPT having 60 TOTAL hours at FSU. I basically need to schedule 9 more hours to graduate. Currently I only have 8 hrs for both Fall and Spring, and then I'll have all the required classes to graduate, just not enough hours! I need easy courses to balance out Genetics and Advanced Analytical Chemistry.

Which brings me to my question, and I'm sure others will benefit from this as well:

What are some relatively easy courses (no matter the level) that carry 3 or more credit hours?

I'll start

AST1002, super easy just know the online study guide.

CGS 2100… You’ll have about an hour of homework in the class every few weeks, BUT the class only meets once per week, and attendance isn’t really that important if you know anything about computers.

BSC1005… 85-100 is an A. Go to the TA review sessions, and you’ll have no problem. Go to every class, and you will get 5 extra credit points in total, making an A a mere 80.

There are online courses in different areas. On the course lookup, look down in the left hand area and you can pull up ONLINE (additional search criteria) and search, leaving the department blank and the course blank and selecting the term… This gives you most of the online alternatives (not all come up this way but most).

The film courses are popular, online or regular.

Unless it is a known online fluff class (such as computers) avoid it! I love online but these classes are time intensive. “Real” online classes tend to have constant assessment through writing assignments/quizzes. Last semester I was writing weekly 4-5 page papers along with exams for an online class. The non-online attendance version of the class only had chapter exams (and they covered fewer chapters.) This semester I have a weekly chapter quiz along with 3 discussion postings. Kind of a pain.

I agree with Matt125’s suggestions. Elementary oceanography OCE1001, online or attendance, is also supposed to be easy.
