I'll try to make it pretty terse. Pre-med track bio major.
My schedule:
Calculus 1: engineering & science
Gen Chemistry + lab
English 1102
FYO (required for freshman)
Total = 12/15 hours. I need to select 1 more 3 hour credit course. What would be a good compliment to my existing course load? I have AP credit for psych 1101. Also, is this a doable course load? I literally have no idea what class to choose to fulfill 15 credit hours for the semester.

Bumpppppppppp

You could always take a foreign language

Something that interests you anthropology, Reflections of Fighting World Hunger, Languages, Latin etc. Look at your fine art requirements and take a class that interests you. Use the resources that UGA provide and ask your adviser.

I second the sociology suggestion. It’ll be on the new MCAT, and it should count toward your core requirements (I’d double check that). I never took it at UGA, but I’m sure it’s not that hard. My first semester was similar: calc1, gen chem, psych…actually, I can’t remember what I took. I’m horrible at math, so that wasn’t so great, but it wasn’t that bad of a schedule (I didn’t think so at least).

I would try and take a class that satisfies the world language/culture credit. Things like foreign language, a couple religion classes, and history classes all qualify.

OR you can always take interpersonal communication or intro to public speaking since that is university requirement as well, and either course is not bad at all.
