<p>Ok well my main three areas of choice would be Los Angeles, New York City, and Boston. Im pretty strict on just those cities or really close near by at the moment.</p>

<p>No one can help you unless you supply more info. What can you get into (what are your stats?), what can you afford (do you qualify for FA? is money no object?), what are you looking for besides location? (majors, size, etc.)
Did you know that UMass Boston is a commuter school? And it is not in the downtown area near the other colleges? It is accessible via the subway.

It’s still not clear without the FA part of the equation but it looks like USC and NYU would be big reaches. I hope the OP is looking into UCs and CSUs.</p>
