<p>Hey guys, this is my first thread on this forum. Im currently attending a community college in nj. I used to go to the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. I was there for 2 years and Ive gotten a 2.0 gpa. I transfered to a community college to start all over because I knew that it'll be too hard to transfer from umass to a better school with a 2.0 gpa. I currently have about 15 credits at the CC and a 4.0 gpa. My dream school is NYU. Im aware that I have to let NYU know that I used to attend Umass but Im afraid that I will be rejected if they see my transcript from Umass since I did so badly. Should I just apply stating that Ive only attended the CC? I really need to make some moves but Im stuck! Please help me!</p>

<p>Unless you’re completely willing to not get credit for one class you took at UMass, you have to list all schools attended. (I think it’s required actually). But if you didn’t flunk out or get kicked out of UMass for disciplinary reasons, I don’t think NYU will hold it too strongly against you. </p>
