I don’t know how many times I’ve posted a similar thread like this or how many years I’ve had thinking about it but this has to stop. I am overthinking this way too much, to the point where I feel life is passing me by.
I am in my mid 20’s, started college straight out of high school and have completed all my general courses. I still work at my very first job, have been working here for 10 years now as a data entry clerk . After two years of working at the office, they allowed me to work from home, I was able to move around/travel…this is one if not the only best thing about my job. No benefits, no growth.
Now that I have my first daughter, I would love a career that may offer work/life balance (like mine does), decent pay and where I can grow and become a professional. Sure, I would love something inspiring like a teacher or school setting but I have my doubts. I have absolutely no idea what to study. I am aiming for an associates, because I would like to study something quick and start searching for this new job search within the ending of next year and also because I simply don’t know what to do yet.
The job search would be general no specific industry, but I don’t know which major would best fit for that idea.
I was wondering if I can combine an associates degree with my ‘data entry’ experience. My college offers two year programs like diagnostic medical sonography, dental hygienist, nursing but these are full time programs and I would like something that I can do at my own pace.
These are some of the associates degrees offered at my college that I may consider:

Please, any general advice would be helpful.
Thank you!
