I was born and raised in the usa, i finished 7th grade here and then i moved to a different country. I know english as a mother tongue but i dont know what i am considered (a foreign student a what?), I also dont know what type of tests\grades i need to do or give in to apply for a good college. Please someone who understands: help !

If you have US citizenship, you’ll be considered in the (more favorable) US applicant pool. Since your school is not in the US, your target colleges will have special requirements to ensure that your documentation is usable in your evaluation.

Your first stop should be the websites of schools you’ll likely target. These requirements will likely vary college to college. Asking here for blanket advice is of limited utility to you. You need to spend time on the college websites.

If you can post your grades (GPA) and any tests (ACT, SAT) you’ve taken, people can guide you some suggestions.

You should read through everything at [EducationUSA | Study Abroad, Student Visa, University Fairs, College Applications and Study in the U.S. / America](http://www.educationusa.state.gov) Then follow the links to find the Advising Center closest to where you are living. The counselors there are expert at helping students through this whole process. If no one at that Advising Center has worked with a citizen lately, they have colleagues in other offices who have done that.
