<p>Which school should I go to for engineering UCSD , VTECH or University of Miami ? Mainly biomedical or chemical I'm not decided yet Which one do you guys think it's better in all aspects : social,education and lifestyle Financial aid is not a factor Help me and I will answer one of your posts !!:) Thanks</p>
<p>UCSD is amazing for your major! Plus the campus is gorgeous and the professors will really help you get far</p>
<p>I don’t know much about the other two, but I know SD is really strong in the sciences!</p>
<p>UCSD is consistently ranked within the top 5 for biomedical engineering and it has its own dedicated bioengineering building. If you already got accepted into the bioengineering major, then I would definitely consider UCSD. If you are leaning towards chem engineering, i’m not sure about that. The chem engineering major falls under the nanoengineering dept. at UCSD, which is actually fairly new (2008 i believe).</p>
<p>I originally was trying to transfer as a Bioengineering major to UCSD, but had to switch my major because it was impacted and had aloooot of requirements. Still got accepted to UCSD though :]</p>
<p>^ there was some administrative shuffling a while back; chemical engineering has been around for quite some time (at least since 2002)</p>
