I Need To Expand My College List.....Can You Help?

My Criteria:

Academics - Strong in business or communications

Location - Close to the beach. So basically any coastal state. And in a suburban or urban area.

Weather - 70’s and sunny most of the time. I also like rain.

Sports - Has to be D1. Football is wanted, but not needed as long as they have other strong programs like basketball, soccer, and volleyball.

Spirit - I want to go to a school where everybody loves being there.

Social Life - A school where people love to party. Clubbing, house parties, or frat parties is all good with me.

Size - Atleast 10,000 students.

Politics - I want to go to a school that is not overaly liberal. So basically not a school like UCB or UCSC.

So can anyone recommend some colleges that fit my criteria?

My list right now:

UMiami

UCSB

UCLA

USC

SDSU

??? - I Need Your Help!!!

well, other than Miami, all of the schools you picked get very little rain at all.

UCSD should probably be on your list.
I know they're not necessarily near the coast but Vanderbilt and UVA could make some solid reaches for you, if Miami and UCLA are "good matches".

UTexas - Austin is another option, not really a beach or rain but it's warm and you got the other stuff.

you can also look into University of San Diego, College of Charleston, UGA, Clemson, USoCarolina, UNC-Chapel Hill, UNC-Asheville, UMissouri-Columbia... the hardest criterion to fill is the beach part, but those schools should be some you can start off looking at and work from there. You'll need to finetune things based on your academics, of course.

I'm a junior right now so my grades can change, but I'm expecting the following grades:

GPA - 3.74UW/4.1W
UC GPA - 3.85
SAT - ~2000
Rank - Top 5% out of ~600

Any Other Opinions...?

Improve your SAT scores

Not on the beach, but worth a look: the University of Florida and the University of South Florida. Tulane might be another possibility. Good luck.

U of Hawaii, U of Southern Mississippi, LSU is inland, but hot and social.

I think Texas A&M meets all your criteria.

Firefly, did you catch the part about "close to the beach"?
