High school has been pretty rough for me so far (in 11th grade going into senior). I have gotten Cs in geometry pre-calc and chemistry (everything else is As and Bs). I’m just really concerned since those courses are essential to computer majors. I have always challenged myself by taking every honors and AP class that was available but sometimes i just was not compatible with certain teachers in my school and with my strict schedule outside of school it was hard to teach myself everything and I ended up doing poorly. In my senior year i will be taking AP Calculus BC and AP Physics E+M as well as AP Statistics.
Pretty meh EC:
80 hours volunteering at a library and nature center
Varsity track all four years of Highschool (Won the S.O.L national conference last year)
Played Baseball outside of school throughout the entirety of High School and won two championships
Participated in Debate for half of high school
Plan to take a computer science course over the summer at a local community college
Did not really care too much for honors societies at my school, they were a joke
GPA: 3.2UW, 3.9W
SAT: (780M, 700RW)
Plan to take SAT Math II in October and achieve an 800
If I work my butt off senior year and get As in all of these hard AP math and science courses, will it make up for my Cs in the past?
Wha good CE/CS colleges should I apply to? BTW I live in PA
