I need to get a 28+

Test Preparation ACT Preparation

<p>Please help me, I really really need to get a better score on the ACTs this time. Its probably my last time I am able to take the test before I have to send in my scores. I have taken the test 3 times so far.
First time: 24 Composite
2nd time: 24 Composite (I was really sick that day so I knew I was going to do miserable)
3rd time: 25 Composite (Sept test was extremely difficult)</p>

<p>My best test was the following:
English- 26
Math- 27
Reading- 24
Science- 24
English w/ Writing- 29 (11)
Composite- 25</p>

<p>Could anyone give me some pointers as to how to speed up on the test or do better? And which sections would be easiest to improve upon considering I have 5 more days to prep before the test this Saturday. Any help would be extremely apperciated.</p>

<p>tell me about it man, i need atleast a 27 and i would be satisfied, so far every goddamn test ive takin my composite has been a 25.</p>

Writing - 24
English - 22
Science - 23</p>

<p>but then again i have 2 more practices to go, 27th will be my first official time taking, Do u know how similar the Essay is to the SAT essay? or any methods to use to get a good score on essay?</p>

<p>For the essay, just write your brains out, I have definitely seen it myself, the more information you jot down, the better your score is. </p>

<p>English- just study your grammar and stuff
Science- practice timing</p>

<p>Timing on the ACTS is everything, try working fast while getting the max amount of questions correct.</p>
