PS: I am Indian, but I was wondering if the fact that neither of my parents have finished high school (both left at 16) would make my application look better

leadership positions matter, run for SGA or start a club that shows great leadership. You have the scores like everyone that applies so you gotta stand out in essays definitely. you still have time so GOOD luck !!

I agree with Charlize, and you should also really study for the SATs and ACTs to make those a strength of your application. Also, in regards to the parent education thing- yes, that will help, especially if you’re a first generation college student.

“I wouldn’t mind Cornell.” LOL

Get a 2350 or a 35.
