i NEED to raise my score...

<p>okay, so i took my first SAT in january and got
690 cr
660 math
700 writing
total 2050</p>

<p>not bad for my first time, but i was aiming for about a 2140</p>

<p>so i took it in june and got
710 cr
650 math
680 writing
total 2040</p>

<p>IT WENT DOWN!!! <em>sobs</em>
grrr, so i am determined to get it way up for my October test.
my question is, would it really make a difference if i studied all summer? if i took a pracitce test a week would it actually help me or just waste my time? what is the best way to get the score i want?

<p>yes that would help, the best thing is to take as many OFFICIAL practice tests as possible, as many as possible… the scale goes like this ;D</p>

<p>10 tests- 2000-2100
20 tests- 2100-2200
30 tests- 2200-2300
40 tests- 2300-2400</p>

<p>of course thats not always the case, but it helps i guess haha</p>

<p>It could be worse, my critical reading score went from 790 to 650…Needless to say I am upset that not all schools allow for score choice.</p>
