I need urgent help!!

Hey guys, I've been taking SAT Prep class for 2 and half years.. almost 3 now. First time taking the SAT was November. I studied about 100 vocabulary words crazily a week before the exam and I got below below average on the Verbal. On the hand, I got below average on the Math too even though Mathematics is one of my strong areas. On the Writing, I thought I got about 600+, but somehow it turned out 20 points away from 600.

CR: 410
Math: 460
Writing: 580

Guys, what I should I do? =(
I need about 1800-1900 in order to be safe. I'm taking the December SAT (the second time) and the test is just weeks away.

Please, anyone?

I think you need to try the ACT.

^I have a second and third chance for the SAT in December and January though.

Agreed. Try the ACT.

ACT - Because if after 3 years of prep the best you can do is 1450, it will be JUST ABOUT IMPOSSIBLE for you to get a 1800. The ACT tests different skills and you may have a better shot at a good score.

Owch… I can’t imagine studying for 3 years to get sub-1500 (no offense but I feel your pain) Okay here’s what I advise for you: Go buy CollegeBoard The official SAT Study Guide. Right now. Take all the practice tests, learn from your mistakes. For quick grammar rules, read Sparknotes 7 Deadly SAT Mistakes. Keep studying, keep learning vocabulary. You can do it, just give it your best try!!!

Good luck.
