INFORMATION
Ethnicity: White
Gender: Female
State: Connecticut
Income Bracket: Upper Middle Class

So burritoboy is a Female?

You definitely are in the ball park and should be in the running. Ivy’s are tough to call sometimes but I think you have a very good chance to the schools on your list. You are a very strong candidate IMHO. It might just come down to the essay.

UCONN not a safety? Both for admission and cost?

@MassDaD68 I won’t go to UCONN, I’m not a loser lol. My parents have promised to pay my tuition in full, and I appreciate your support. It would be helpful if you were a little more supportive/hopeful honestly…

This is a fake post.

@Rollout Uhhh no its not…

That’s really rude. You should think before you post.

Well, I’m hoping it’s fake. Otherwise you’d better hope your Dartmouth-is-a-safety attitude didn’t come across in your essays or interviews.

@ollie113 Dartmouth is everyone’s safety; who are you? Once again, I’m not fake, and to be perfectly honest with you, I know I’m getting into Dartmouth. You would have to be unqualified not to.

I know I’m better than good enough, and anyone who thinks otherwise is just wrong.

You look like a fine applicant. An essay about how your first A- and how it shaped you sounds questionable. How did an A- shape you?

I think Dartmouth would find this female’s audacity to be too strong to deny.

You’re ridiculous. You ask for opinions, then ask for more positivity when you don’t get the answer you want. UConn should be on your list because it’s good to save money no matter what, especially if you want to go to grad school. Going to UConn won’t make you a loser, but this attitude you have will. UVA may be a safety if you’re instate, but you’re not and it can be unpredictable. Dartmouth is also not a safety for anyone even if it is a “lower Ivy.” This better be fake, or you’re just a conceited snob who though smart, will turn out to be the loser at your 10 year high school reunion. Sorry for being rude, but you’re simply ridiculous.

@Jpgranier It was the most traumatic experience of my life, I spent weeks crying in my pillow and even had to see a therapist.

I had expected perfection, but was met with disappointment. I felt like that minus was a flatlining heart monitor, and I was grasping for my last breath, but alas, that minus still stood. Beep. Beeeeep.

That’s a little sample of my essay, but honestly, my mom said it was the best she had ever read, and she was crying by the end.

@jennacwa Sounds like someone went to UConn, or worse Cornell…

Neither, I’m just realistic and acknowledge that not everyone can go to an ivy. Either way it’s higher education, and you’re clearly putting too much value on the name. Good luck in life, you definitely need it.

@jennacwa You know what, sounds like you need help…you clearly didn’t go to an Ivy and so now you make excuses for yourself.

starbucksishiring

Lol at people who think this is serious.

@Ariz0na LOL @people who don’t…I have clarified that this is real, sounds like your username is derived from your alma mater.

UofAAlum

I don’t think that being condescending to every one is a smart choice . Some people are just trying to help you

@fencingdood I’m just trying to be honest. Why do you think so many people get rejected? 85 percent get rejected… They’re all too soft. You all need to be more honest and confident.

Also it is a little strange how at times, you sell yourself extremely short (ex. saying a 4.0 is not the best and that you ‘don’t think you will get in’) but at times you seem very confident/ maybe arrogant (ex. calling yourself the tiger woods of UN and describing your mother’s reaction to your essay). Maybe this is why people think this is fake. I’m not criticizing btw, you have a pretty good resume. I am just telling you why some people may not think this is real

@fencingdood I am confident, but I like to be humble. You guys just don’t understand me, and that’s unfortunate…
