I Need YOUR Help

I met with my counselor today, who I gave all of the necessary counselor forms and application materials for my colleges like two weeks ago. The problem is that he told me that he sent all of the counselor evaluation forms and transcripts to my colleges already! Is this okay if I need to retake the SAT on Nov.? Will the colleges store these forms and transcript and wait for my SAT scores on November? I really didn't expect my counselor to send the forms and application materials already.

It's not a problem. As soon as the materials are received, the colleges open a file on you and the only thing you need to do is make sure all the application materials are in before the deadline. Just check from time to time with the admissions office to make sure they have logged in everything you know was sent. Give them about 2 weeks from the date of mailing to get an item logged in.

Oh, even if I haven't submitted application online to pay for the application fee?

Bump (10 chars)

Yes it would be fine.

My daughter's recommendations were sent late August, 2-3 weeks before she sent her applications in. It's not a problem.

Last week my son sent the first part of his app for MIT, and the fee. Magically a page appeared saying they had his SAT scores, one of his recs and the first part. It showed what he still needed. It was comforting to see that the whole system worked.
