I studied two years at SFSU as an accounting major. For some reason, I
changed to computer engineering major and attending a CC now for the first
semester for transfer. I want to transfer to Cal Poly and SJSU. I think
sjsu could accept me without any difficulty but going to Cal Poly is what
I really want. I need to spend 2 more years at CC in order to apply for
admission at Cal Poly slo. For sjsu, i could apply and get into their
program in less than 1 year.

Is it worth it to spend a few more years and apply to cal poly to get a
better degree? (Thats six years of college total and I am not sure I can 100% admission.)

My sister suggests finishing up my accounting degree and apply for M.S.
in Engineering. Any other option?

"1. Is it worth it to spend a few more years and apply to cal poly to get a

First, it's very hard to get into CPSLO, so if you decide to go with this option, nothing is guaranteed and you might totally screw up your plans. Also, what do you mean a better degree? Let me tell you right now that in our world today, any degree in any major is enough for you to get your foot in hundreds of jobs.

If you really want to major in Engineering, go for it. Like I said, many jobs out there don't care what kind of degree that you have, just so that you have a degree. I'd say go with what you like.
