i need your opinions

so i transferred from a tier 3 school (depaul) to a renowned state school (rutgers) this fall, but i'm miserable here. overall, im not happy with everything about the school.
my ultimate goal is to go to law school and i understand that college gpa and lsats are most important.

im on the brink of transferring back to my original school but im worried that if i return, my chances at law school will be slimmer due to the lesser prestige of the school.

would you recommend i transfer back to where i was most happiest, stick it out for the next few years, or try reaching higher to place where i'll probably be happier?

im fairly confident i can make it to fordham but i also want to reach for schools like northwestern and nyu.

From what I gathered from CC forums, law schools don't care about the prestige of your undergraduate school. The only time it matters is when the applicant receives a slight boost for attending a very elite (say, top 5) institution.
Go where you'll be happy, of course.
