I Neeed Hellp!!!

Hey everyone i know time is running short and thats why i need all the help i can get.

I am a senior in high school, my grades were not very good at all my first 3 years, my avg GPA is a 2.36. Although I do play soccer and I am in band, if that counts as EC's. I do very well in my business majors, because I have a strong interest in business. Therefore, I will want to major in Finance. My dream job is to be an investment banker, I really wish I would have realized a lot of this years ago where I didnt care so much about school. I plan to work a lot harder from this point forward to be where I want to be. I honestly dont know what to do, I want to live and have a job in a big city (e.g. New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, etc.). Once I get to college and take my business classes I know i will do a lot better there. I want to eventually get to a school like University of Michigan. What are some colleges in my range? Should I just attend a jr. college for 2 years and if I do really well would I be able to transfer to a good undergrad business school (i'm not talking ivy league)? Because I will do whatever I can to catch up and prove myself. I do have many skills in business, I attended a Business enterprise camp over the summer and competed and won awards in Future business leaders of America Club. I also do online marketing and SEO for people and make money that way, and I own an eBay business. The only thing wrong with me is my grades from 9-11 grades in high school. I need the best advice I can get and soon because I will be applying for college in the next 1-2 months. Thank you!

I'd suggest a junior college for two years and then transfer to another school. That said, with those awards you might consider sending in an application to UMich just for the hell of it. Who knows, with good essays, a couple of visits to the campus, and a bit of luck you just might have a possibility of making it.

You do have some skills, ec's, awards, etc which might be impressive but UMich might seem a little high of a reach. Although, if I were you send out applications to Ohio State Columbus and Indiana Bloomington. Both will be easier for you than Michigan and are still good finance schools
