i neeeed your help!

alright. so here's the deal. i'm an american.

i have a not very good gpa of 3.7 unweighted because my junior year was terrible.

i'm trying to get into arts and sciences but apparently the min requirement thing says that you have to get an A- in prerequisite science courses.

well. i took ap bio and got a B. i'm not sure if ap bio counts as a prerequisite because i mean it was kinda hard. this whole canadian thing doesn't make too much sense to me.

i'm pretty sure i could get into arts, seeing as english is the one thing i didn't **** up haha.

i have a 2320 sat (800 math, 760 cr, 760 writing).
my sat 2's are fine.

so basically. i'm wondering if i can get into arts and sciences at all. if there's a possibility. thanks <3

The McGill website for US students (I’m applying from the US too) says, “A- in each English and each prerequisite math and science” and that the prerequisite math and science courses are “pre-calculus; two of biology, chemistry or physics.”

So basically, if you have a combo of chem and physics, or just Honors bio and something else, and you got at least A-'s in both, you’ll be fine.

I’m sure you’ll be fine. A 3.7 GPA is fairly competitive here.

edit

Eh, I should say, a 3.7 GPA over sophomore and junior year is competitive. They want to see that you’ve averaged around a A- in the classes that matter, is all.
