So /i have no idea why, but I just never requested a WUSTL interview although it's among my top choices and I don't want them to think I'm using them as an "Ivy backup." Any suggestions?

Well, Wash U is all about showing interest, and if you had the opportunity to have an interview then you should have taken it. However, there are also many other ways for you to show you want to go there. I wouldn’t worry about it too much.

it’s not too late to schedule one, i just did today.

Even if it was too late you could call or email them to ask about an interview.
Another way to show interest is to set up a campus visit.
You can also flat out tell them that WUSL is your first choice school and if accepted, you will attend.

charlieharper: is that an alumni interview or an on campus interview? DS called to schedule an alumni interview in late December but was told they were no longer available. They also told him they would note the fact that he asked for one in his file.

How can you schedule an interview for WUSTL? I looked all over their website back in november and couldn’t find a link. Is it for people who call/email only?

speaking of showing interest, I don’t think I ever “showed any interest” either… and it also happens one of my top choices. *sigh

^too late. the deadline was Jan 15th unless you go to the campus and do one. I was under the impression they’d contact you for some reason which is why Imissed it.

And I was under the impression that they didn’t conduct off campus interviews. I wish I paid more attention. Oh well.

Should one still request an alum interview f she had an on campus interview?

^ You’re only allowed one or the other, so no, you cannot request an alum interview.
