ive been taking multiple tests this month from the mcgraw hill,
and i've been getting around a 30-31 score every single time. according to the real ACT book, i've been getting around a 27-28, which does not make me very happy at all.

how can i improve my 28 to a 32? my parents will not sign me up for a prep class and i really need a high score to average out my 3.88 gpa.

any good books? is the mcgraw hill accurate? is barron's overpreparing me?

Eh, prep classes aren’t that useful anyway; studying the book is a lot more helpful.

It’s hard to say what you need to improve because you didn’t mention any specific section scores. English is generally the easiest to improve if it’s one of your lower scores.

My scores according to the mcgraw hill were as follows:
English: 31
Math: 30
Reading: 34
Science: 28

according to the real act:
English: 28-29
Math: 28
Reading: 32
Science: 24.

this is such a huge difference. i need help. i consistently get these scores. and sometimes i screw up the reading and do well on math, or vice versa, as seen on the above scores.
