That’s the way APs should be taught. Don’t they do that everywhere?

This is pretty bad, man. With these stats and the way you’re going, you’re never be able to make it to at least a good state university, get a degree, marry, have kids, raise a family, or enjoy anything that’s out there in nature and in the world. Looks like the rest of your life is going to be spent wringing the tears out of your sponge-reminiscent clearance-sale pillow and regretting that GPA for the rest of your life.

dude. fail at life topics should not be posted in HSL. you’ll be mocked even more by immature highschool students attempting to be wise.

Dying to know what OP’s state flagship school is. Those are some scary stats needed to get in. Please tell us.

North Carolina IIRC

I’ve taken college classes and I typically have no problem teaching myself. And I do see your point. But when you’re taking a college physics course and there’s no one to help you or any support whatsoever… it is difficult.

You’re telling me that you learned AP Physics and AP Calculus completely out of a book at your school? Everything I’ve heard seems to suggest these are taught with lectures.

We have great schools in my state, but I want to study philosophy and if I don’t get into my state flagship I’ll be going to a 1st tier technical school for philosophy. 0.o

79.1% ranked in top ten%
14.6% ranked in second ten%
88.7% had GPA of 4.0 or higher
Average GPA was 4.44
Average SAT score: 1940/2400

With hard work I’ll be 10%, GPA ~4.7 W, ~3.7 UN
Current SAT: 1870/2400

So I’m not far off, but even if I have the numbers most other students took slightly easier classes and did very well while I have 3 B’s, 1 D, 1 F and I’m only a rising Junior.

How horrible- you failure isn’t it terrible to be in the top 10% of your classs- god forbid. Now you can’t get into HYPMSC.

J/k with a harsh touch. You really are fine- I think I’m in the top 25%( or worse) of my class just because I got two b’s. I’m sure you’ll find a way to compensate for it. And if you don’t go to the college you want to-Its probably not the end of the world
Yikes!

Haha. People on this site are so stupid for being supposedly smart…
At least you have a life OP unlike many of these LOSERS…
Awesome grades and a social life… I’m more proud. Many of you people need to learn to lighten up on grades. They mean nothing if you learn nothing.

You fail at life because you care too much about grades. Life isn’t just about grades; besides if you get good grades, but can’t get a good job, what’s the point?
