I think you have great chances for most of the schools listed. You should consider NYU if you can increase your SAT scores up to 1840+.

The title of this thread should be changed.

I'm out of state for Ohio schools...

I live in MD

I go to one of the toughest public schools in the country

I also do have alot of connections at Ohio State and Missouri

I'm not trying to sound like a negative Nancy, but I don't think I can improve my score by 350 points.

...first degree murder could be a hook....

...was it a positive learning experience for you? I'd write about it on a college essay.

UA accepts everybody.

I'm sure if I actually did kill somebody that would make an admissions officer want to accept me!

You have very low V and W scores on your SAT for journalism...a profession where you write.

This is more of the kind of writing I do

Robert Kraay OT Air Force Stout technique, moves feet well/. Doesn't move fluidly move well in run game
Gilberto Perez DE Air Force Hardworking leverage player who uses hands well/ Poor strength and can't shed

Marques Murrell DE/OB Appalachian State 3/4 defensive prototype with fluid movements and plays well laterally/ not good at the point
Monte Smith OB Appalachian State Great lateral range and stout in zone coverage/ Not a quick twitch player
Tanner Bell OT Arizona Tall, angular tackle who has solid power/ Size creates serious leverage issues
Chris Henry RB Arizona Power, size and speed combination to do serious damage/ Not shifty or doesn't juke well
Michael Jefferson WR Arizona Flashed sporadic abilities throughout college, but is inconsistent/ Has size but has poor hands
Michael Johnson SS Arizona One of the best tackling safties with a good sense of angles/ Poor in coverage and bites a lot
Syndric Steptoe WR Arizona Shift receiver with really good hands field awareness/ Small size and lacks deep speed
Stephen Berg OG Arizona State Short-area player with a mean strek and explosion/ Plays to high with sloppy technique
Andrew Carnahan OT Arizona State Short-area player with great skills in pass protection and angular size/ Doesnt move well laterally
Zach Catanese FS Arizona State Superb size who can lower the boom in run support all day/ Backpedal and footwork are poor
Jordan Hill DT Arizona State Constant competitor who has a non-stop motor and has a quick 1st step/ small and is weak
Zach Miller TE Arizona State Excellent concentration and hands and can stretch the field/ Straight-line blocker who lacks speed
Terry Richardson WR Arizona State Good size and is has extra strength in the punt return game/ Not a polished route runner
Jamaal Anderson DE Arkansas Artist in pass rush with size, technique and fundementals/ Struggles to get off blocks fluidly
Chris Houston DC Arkansas Tough and great in prerss-bail coverage with fluid body movements/ Still needs to hoan his skills

So more or less, regurgitated information from other scouting websites.

NO not at all

It's more info of me spending countless hours in front of a TV taking notes. Those are only examples of what I do.

What I really do is take those snipits and add on more stuff till its about a paragraph each on 700 different players

I'm glad you realize you have to hone your skills. Maybe take a copyediting course while you're at it.

But honestly, I would forget about journalism if I were you. If you think that presenting a falsehood like I once killed a man is good policy, that shows very bad instincts. The only place you'll be able to work is the New York Post.

Ohio Wesleyan has an excellent journalism program and one of the oldest student-run newspapers in the country. Journalism grads can be found among many major newspapers and electronic media. (Byron Pitts is one) I would check it out...

Do you have something against me?

I think alot of us (including myself) have forgotten what this thread is really about...Evalulating my chances!

OWU is a tad out of my reach... for now
