Yes, it was stupid and I didn’t think about the threat of cheating. I posted it at a few times and then had a moderator delete my posts. It had a few hundred views though. I really like my essay, but I’m worried that someone may have ripped it off. Is this likely? I would prefer not to rewrite it but better that then getting rejected from all my schools because they think I cheated. Thanks!
I don’t know. They might have been deleting it to protect you. Don’t ever post your entire essay on a public forum, especially multiple times. You never know for sure if someone took it or not. Please read the disclaimers at the top.

That won’t happen.
As a moderator (although not the one who deleted your post), I can tell you that there are very few essays that I have seen posted here that were worth ripping off. I’m not saying yours was not good; I did not read it. Odds are that it needed a lot of work. The application process is stressful enough; don’t worry about this. And don’t post your essays.

Not sure. Because once you posted on the internet, even though you thought you deleted, it might not.

Depends. If your essay was really personal, that it’s simply not possible for anyone to plagiarize your essay.If you wrote about a general topic that could apply to many people, than there may be a risk.
It was about scoring on the wrong basket in a basketball game. Where could i use a plagiarism checker?
I remember reading that essay and asking if the story was true. It was a great essay but I personally believe that the story was too unique for someone to attempt to copy.
