I reached into my mailbox and felt a fatttt envelope...

...and i was so disappointed because it was just a random college in spain that wanted me to apply.

....I thought/wished/prayed it was a likely, from somewhere, anywhere....but still, it wasn't.

For those of u that are wondering what's my point, i just wanted to shout out: This "likely letter frenzy" is driving me crazy! Probably because i didn't get one (yet!)...

congratz to all of u who did though ;)

it's kinda sad when the most exciting part of your day is pulling up into your driveway, and getting out of your car to open your mailbox (I'm referring to myself btw).

Haha. I don't think they send likely letters in a fat envelope anyway.

I haven't applied yet and I still find getting the mail exciting.

I haven't even applied!

haha I had a similar experience today. I go to a boarding school, so I check my mail box multiple times a day (just out of habit), and I, too, felt a fattttt envelope.

no. it wasn't from anywhere good. it was an application from carnegie mellon for this year. perhaps they don't realize that those apps are useless now, as the deadline has passed, a long time ago.

Fresh, I know how you feel! I love getting the mail, and when the mailman comes, well, I could be out there for hours if he weren't working.

i reached into my mailbox today and pulled a fat envelope from Liberty College. ****.

You never know.

Yale and Penn's likelies come in fat envelopes. So maybe Harvard's does, too.

laxman...same thing happened a few days ago for me. washu like rushed an app to me...but its february. i was like ***?

Haha, I recieved a fat envelope from Spain too. St. Louis U in Madrid.

Duke's did as well. I would assume Harvard does. That being said, don't expect them....see them as a very nice surprise if you get them :)

Duke's came in a fat envelope? I thought I got the same letter as you did GuitarMan but I swear it was a small envelope. or at least thin?
