Hi, I'm a rising senior and was wondering if I have a shot at some of the Ivies (especially Yale and Princeton). I realize that this isn't a science, but if you could give me some idea of whether or not I would be a competitive applicant I would really appreciate it. I swear I'm not some jack*** who compulsively seeks approval; I'm honestly on the fence as to whether or not I should apply to a place like Princeton or Stanford because I have no idea where I stand in the whole process. Any thoughts/help would be great.

School: Pretty good public school (~250 kids in my graduating class) Pacific Northwest
GPA: 4.0 (My school only calculates unweighted GPAs)
Probably one of the top 5 students in my grade

SAT: 2190... CR:800 M:710 W:680
SAT II:
Chem: 750
Math(II): 770
US: 800

ACT: 33

AP: My school offers 12 AP courses. By the end of senior year I'll have taken AP US, Spanish (twice since it's the highest level offered), Lang, Calc AB, Stats, Gov, Chem, Bio, and Physics. I've gotten 5s on all 5 tests so far.

ECs:

Sports: Varsity tennis: 9,10,11,12. Captain: 10, presumably 12. State entrant: 10,11,12. I play some tournaments and take the sport pretty seriously; however, I don't think I am good enough to be recruited at a D1, so it's not really a hook.

Clubs: NHS:10,11,12
Science Club: Co-Founder (11) and President (11, 12)
Science Olympiad: 9, 11, 12 (not offered 10) Placed 3rd in State for Chemistry (11)

Other: I placed in the top 10% of non-native Spanish speakers across the State in the National Spanish Exam all three years so far.

Summer: Last summer I got to live in Europe for several months.
This summer I'll probably job-shadow at a cardiology clinic (I want to be a doctor, I think) and surgical center as well do some research with a prof at the local University.

Volunteer: Maybe 200+ hours by the time I leave high school. Mainly tutoring and teaching tennis clinics.

Hook?: I don't know if this is special at all but I have duel American-Canadian citizenship and lived in Canada when I was little.

Sorry for the long post, but I really do appreciate any responses. Thanks a lot
