I was accepted to both Georgetown and USC. I have no idea where to attend, I've looked at the pros and cons of each school, and they like balance out! I was hopping it would come down to financial aid, but like both schools are expecting me to pay 60,000 out of pocket which I can't. I filed for an appeal and GT said they'd get back to me tomorrow, but USC says they won't get back to me until after May 1st which is sorta useless to me :/

I don't know what to do. Why should I or should I not go to USC? Anyone choosing between the two schools? Please any input would be lovely.

I don't know what I want to do yet, I was considering International Relations but im not sure yet.. I would appreciate any in put possible.

I’m confused, if you can’t pay what you are expected to pay, is there a choice? Did you turn in drastically different information in which you would expect financial aid to change significantly at this point? USC is a much bigger spirit school but both are great schools, it could come down to east coast/west coast/LA/DC.

If you cannot afford either school, then neither school is an option. Were you accepted to an affordable option? Are you planning to attend community college and then transfer?

@cadreamin @alamem I guess I should have specified that I filed for an appeal. There were many small details that I left out, but I’m hoping with the appeal, things should be a bit more affordable. There were some aspects of my financial aid that were not taken into consideration when both schools did my initial financial aid package, and now that we’ve clarified I anticipate things to be a bit more affordable. No matter what in terms of financial situations, it’s between the two schools.

So if it turns out the out-of-pocket cost is $60,000 per year, you are able and willing to pay that amount? Because if that is not the case, you need to make a deposit to a school which you can afford today, May 1st.
