I recently took a Barron's practice test (knowing that their practice tests are extremely hard). I got 9 wrong on the english and 15 on the math, my two strongets sections.

Is this a normal amount to miss for Barron's? I feel that a lot of english questions could have more than one correct answer and the math, idk what happened. Is their math supposed to be that hard?

Don't blame it on the book. If you made mistakes, it's your fault; you weren't as competent as you thought you were.

Besides, if the practice test is harder than the real thing, it's for the better IMO. Better to be disappointed now than on a Saturday in the near future.

Barron's tends to be harder than the real SAT. But study both Barron's and the real, published SATs, since in some ways Barron's is easier (no visual spatial)

Yes i suppose it is better to get them wrong and know your mistakes. I probably gave the impression i was disappointed i got them wrong or whatever, but all i really wanted to confirm was whether barron's was that hard because a lot of people said the book was hard.
that's all lol

The book is hard, yes. I personally am using the Real ACT Guide (only ACT book I possess as of now), and am having trouble only on the reading section. I must try get Barron's and check that out.

Alright, so does it really honestly help that Barron's is hard? a lott of people say that you should do barron's practice tests so when you acutally take the test, its a lot easier than the barron's tests you have practiced from. but does this help or not? Does barron's even test the kinds of questions that appear on the ACT?
