I really hate group projects because no one is ever free on the same day. And no one ever checks their email, apparently. And its a video project so its not like we can do stuff individually and stick it all together at the end.

I feel the same way. It's kind of stupid, really, especially when one can do work more efficiently (and often better) himself, but is forced to compromise schedule with others. Sure, it's supposed to prepare us for a work environment, but at a job it'd be so much easier.

Yeah, happens. It sucks when you get stuck with people who are lazy, incompetent, or don't really care about their grade, usually a combination of the three. I agree, Kaznack, at this level many people are just dead weight.

Ahaha. I'm in the same situation right now, with a video project. My AP Lit teacher is also the film studies teacher, so I guess I should have expected it eventually.

He doesn't teach. Ever. At all. We do group projects, and then the groups teach the class. We're doing literary terms right now, and ours is satire. We're thinking of satirizing his teaching style (or lack therof) in the video. He has a sense of humor, so hopefully it'll go over well.

I like group projects when I can pick my group, hate them when I can't.
