I took the SATs several times, but the ACT only once. My SAT was decent, but not strong enough for the schools I want to go to.
M: 670
W: 730
CR: 680

However my ACT was
R: 33
E:31
M: 32
S: 25
The science brought my composite score down to a 30. I'm a senior and need to send my scores. Should I send the ACT or SAT since my math, english and writing scores are better from the ACT?
I really don't know what to do. Do schools only look at the composite? My score would have been better if it wasn't for the science section.

The schools I really want to go to are BC, Vassar, and Colgate.

I’m looking at Vassar too!

I can’t really comment on your chances based on solely on your standardized test scores, but this is what I would say assuming you’re a typical applicant for someone with the same score:

BC: Reach
Vassar: High Reach (But if you’re a guy, just a reach)
Colgate: Reach

Chance me back?

GPA: 4.7. My school uses a weird scale, but I’m at the top third percent of my class in an EXTREMELY competitive high school (the person ranked above me has a 4.701)
I’ve gotten really good grades, have always taken all honors and AP’s, and have only getting a couple B+'s.

My ec’s are pretty strong. I play two instruments (one for ten years and the other for eight). I am the concertmaster of an orchestra, am in a band in school, and an additional musical group outside of school. I play for the elderly regularly and take private lessons. i am sending music supplements in, although I do not want to major in music. Additionally I have interned over the past two summers, I am an active participant in seven clubs, I am in the Drama Club, and I am on mock trial. I have started two giant community service projects (one where I raised money/got a company to donate teddy bears to children in a Pediatric Ward).

I am also partially Hispanic (indicated on my common app)

I was hoping my ec’s and GPA might make up for my scores. I just get really nervous on test days. I thought that BC and Colgate would be more of a high match

In that case, I think I’m bumping all of these schools to Matches
The rest of your application sounds really competitive/impressive. Congrats! You’ll probably get into one or two of these schools.

Also I’m a girl. I already got into Villanova

thanks I wish you the best of luck also!
