Are you in-state for Maryland? Are you white?

An internship sounds like a good idea. Keep up the APs, and try to aim for at least 1400 on your SATs. It's a good milestone - the difference between 1390 and 1410 is more significant than, say, 1270 and 1290.

And I'm sure you're sick of this, but keep up your grades!

Well, that always beats being white. (Like me)

Consider what you want to do with your life. Not that any of your colleges are by any means bad, but think about expanding your horizons; there are a lot of excellent colleges out there besides the Ivy leage and the few others often mentioned with them.

So first things first. What do you want to do? Or what don't you want to do? Identify your interests and we'll go from there.

well i am definitely going into marketing/advertising/ and maybe finance? no doubt about that. and yea i am not really knowledgable of all the good universities out there.. i just copied down some of the popular ones off of the site. lol i am hoping college park will be my safety so i can have a shot at some of the more competitive ones..

Don't write off Maryland just because it's in state. It still has a solid reputation.

Wharton is definitely a great choice. Pretty much any place with a good business graduate program would be a good choice, because sometimes you can either take classes there or work with some of the people there. Either way, it can't hurt to have proximity to a top graduate program.

Take your time and search around. Virginia (UVA) is definitely a good place to check out. Check the ratings (at various places) of different business schools. Hmm...yeah, UVA would definitely be good. That's my first recommendation. I'll let you know if I think of anything else.

Tufts? Wake Forest? I'm sure other people will have ideas.
