<p>I have to do an IB extended essay (in case some of you are/were in IB), and I'm having no luck figuring out a topic. It has to be 3000 words minimum, so it can't be a simple topic, and it can't be broad as well (for example, How does the brain work is too broad of a topic and will not work). Also, I want to deal with something from a medical perspective, but it can't focus on diagnosis and treatment as much as the biological aspects behind the disease.</p>

<p>I'm interested in something to do (in order or preference) with Anesthesiology or Neurology, Cardiology, the bones (I don't know the internal med speciality for that), or rheumatology. Right now though, I'm really desperate so I'm willing to accept just about anything. Also, giving me some ideas would be great as well (you don't have to GIVE me the topic, although that would be nice :D)</p>
