I really need help with this

I am an international student and I can't decide between George Washington and tufts. I am planning to major in Political Science and Economics, and then go to Business Grad school. I would like to know, which of these three universities is more prestigious, more known, or has a better reputation, etc? Are there plenty of internships at GW? In short, is GW a top school in the country, and is Tufts a top school or no?

Thank you very much for your help

Tufts is higher ranked, so naturally, it is more prestigious, more well-known, and has a better reputation. However, GW is not bad at all and is considered a good school in the US.

With GW being right in heart of DC, there are PLENTY of internships and such. I hear here is alot of competition for the best internships. You will surely find lots of opportunities in DC.

Both are good schools with advantages and disadvantages, I would go to the school that's least expensive. Did you get good scholarships at GW or fin aid at Tufts? Or is money not an issue?

(I'm an international too, I didn't get in Tufts, so congratulations to you! It's not an easy thing to do. =)

most will consider tufts more prestigious. however, at gwu u will have more access to the internships involving poli.sci.-- i mean its in washington dc! but im sure u can get internships in boston as well. tufts has an amaaaaazing study abroad program and fletchers is one of the best int'l relations programs in the world.
