What are you looking for... besides distance?

no one is helping because no one has an idea of what you want from a school. You have given us no criteria in which to offer you any constructive suggestions. Maybe school size? Location? Student body composition? give us something to work with and im sure people will be more likely to help.

Ok my parents made me stay home for one semester of college. I want to transfer to NYU Gallatain or another big urban university very badly..... can some one chance a spring transfer and also tell me what they are looking fo in transfer apps?

Not all schools accept spring transfer; so you may have to wait for fall for some on your list.

On your other thread, you mentioned poli sci, history, int'l relations. So... urban for those fields, you might consider
JHU
GW
American
Georgetown (might not be as big as you want?)
BU
NYU
Pitt
UMd, CP (near but not in DC)
UChicago
UCLA (probably tough, but not impossible, for out of state)
Syracuse (if that's a big enough city for you)
Columbia
Penn

Lots of reaches on this list, because they're mostly "top programs." So, look for others by searching on collegeboard.com (or similar) for urban large schools with those majors - to give yourself some less reach-y and definite safety options.

Re "what they're looking for in transfer apps," read the sticky thread "Transfer Admissions 101." One of the things they look for is a good reason for wanting to transfer; you have one.

thats a long run on sentence ;)

well it is a net forum XD

Thanks for your advice
