I moved here from England 9 months ago.
Im about to start my junior year of high school.
I met with my guidance counselor today and she said they were having problems changing my England grades into American credits.
So she said because of this I will have to start out at a community college. This doesnt bother me at all except I can't find any community colleges in my state that do musical theatre or dance. I live in Georgia.
Does anybody know of any community colleges that offer musical theatre or dance?
My parents don't really want to pay out of state for me to go somewhere else but if we have no other choice then they will. So if you know any community colleges in GA, FL or SC that offer what I like could you please let me know! Preferably GA!
Thank you so much!

Hmmm . . . Would it be possible to just take your core classes at the community classes while participating in the drama program at your high school?

I have problems believing you will have to attend CC solely because the school is having problems converting your grades from England. You’ll have a least a year of American school under your belt when you apply for college. They could always just look at your American HS grades for ranking.

I know thats what my parents said and it turned into quite a big argument, especially as we are pushed more in England and have harder work (no offence intended there)
Everyone my parents have spoken to here have said thats a lame excuse so I will just see what happens!
Thank you though!
