Hi everybody i am International student, i was kicked from US college ( U of Arizona) during my first year of doing undergraduate degree for low gpa. I was too immature and party hungry which equals no study, ended up getting my undergrad degree in Europe . Now i want to come back and get my master degree in US. So i am in thinking if i should tell the admission about my being expelled from us college before or hide? or will they know it anyway whether i say it or not?
And how bad is this fact for my admission like it fell almost guarantee that i will not be admitted or it’s like whatever? I was expelled in 2013.
P.S : i am not applying to like Ivy league schools just some good Private and state school for example U of George Washington and Iowa state. Also i do not need any kind of financial aid I can pay for everything no probs.
Definitely don’t lie on your apps.
Don’t lie about it.
When you apply to grad school here, you will have to provide an official copy of your transcript from U of Arizona. Period.
Lots of people have old ugly transcripts full of bad grades. Provided you do have good grades and recommendations from your program in Europe, there shouldn’t be any particular problem with admission to most graduate programs.
