<p>lol no, it’s separate..just take the AMC12’s (first round), get some insanely impossible high score, take the next round which is 10x harder, get another insanely impossible score.</p>

<p>your best bet is to solve as many AIME problems as you can in this month. Once you can do the first ten consistently you can pretty much do all of the AMC. Of course solving ten problems on the AIME is not very easy at all.</p>
<p>Art of Problem Solving = your friend. Do lots of practice AMC 12 questions. Despite what people think, a 130 is NOT too difficult after you see a lot of the tricks…and a 7 on the AIME is enough to get USAMO if you get a 130+ on the AMC 12.</p>
<p>hey, if I get say… 110 for AMC10, but we get… 110 for AMC12 I’m qualified for AIME even though my AMC10 score wasn’t enough, right?</p>
<p>^yes definitely. ahto a 110 on the AMC12 is a lot harder than a 110 on the AMC10…unless it’s cuz of stupid errors</p>
<p>I really want to make USABO Semifinals. Not too hard, but I’ve forgotten all my biology and I’m too lazy to read Campbell’s.</p>
