I received an unusual mail from Chicago

They sent me two letters, but they have the same contents.
The letters were titled "opportunities at the University of Chicago"
and told me some of the interesting programs they have for my special interests, economics and human rights.
Some of my friends told me the mails are of no importance.
But from what i can see, it is impossible for them to send such a personal mail to every 17000 applicants, and indicate special programs offered to their respective interests.

Has anyone received a similar email?

If you look through the other forums, you'll see that plently of people recieved similar emails. I recieved one on UChi's creative writing program. im not sure it means anything...all they have to do is copy in our names and our indicated interest, so...

Not even that--they have a program that will do it for them. They don't love you, only their computer software loves you.
