Thank you for the suggestions. I got a chance to listen to a good chunk of the debate while on a bike ride, and I admired the eloquence with which Baldwin and Buckley spoke as well of the strength of their respective arguments. As opposed to how debates often transpire today, there was no making of straw men or intentional disregard of the complexity of the matter in question.

Having recalled your quest, I’d be remiss in not suggesting you read one or more of Stephen C. Meyer’s books at a suitable time (such as perhaps after taking an introductory course in geology at college).
