I recently posted about the on-campus apartments that nobody has responded to yet. I've done a little research on my own, and i'm just curious about a few things. What are the stereotypes of the apartments (i.e. the stoner one, the study one)? Are there RA's? What are campus police like and do they patrol these areas a lot? How are roommates chosen? If anyone can answer some of these questions, that would be awesome. Thank you.

Are you talking about apartments or dorms? I think the only “on-campus apartment” is Glenmor… that is if Glenmor is considered an apartment… I don’t really think UCR owned apartments have a stereotype… only dorms do. I also think that only dorms have RAs… but I’m not sure about that…

Is there a particular apartment you want to know about…? Not that I would be able to answer your question, but other people might…

If you’re talking about apartments, you can choose your own room mates. If you’re talking about dorms, you fill out a survey… and they try to match you with the other person as much as they could… OR you can request a person of your choice.
