I retook an AP test.

In the 2013-2014 year I took the AP European History test and scored a 1. I was extremely shocked as I was fairly good at Euro, got it rescored, still got a 1. I don’t know if it was denial or stubbornness but I retook the AP Euro test again in the 2015 year; self studied and got a 4.

My question is, when I apply to colleges, can I send them the 4? Will they be able to see my 1? I can’t delete my 1 score because it had been archived from last year. Also when they verify once I hypothetically get into the college will it be frowned upon to see two scores?

Thanks in advance!

  1. Yes. They will be able to see the 1.
  2. I think for most application processes, you self-report your highest score (if you retook anything).
  3. Just don't lie. If you have to enter everything, then there's no hiding.
