Also, I head that UChicago is know for something called "SAT Forgivness"...can someone elaborate

Also, I'm really ardent on raising my scores..so I can make it

Well, you already know the SAT is your weakness - the rest looks good. Be sure to take a practice ACT or two so you are familiar with the form and pacing of that test. When you take the test for real, don't go into it thinking that you have to get a 33 - just handle the questions as they come. If you know how to pace yourself from practice, I think you should be in good shape. The place where most kids bomb is on the science section, and I think you're going to be ok with that.

You have already evaluated that the SAT is your weakness and that Chicago is not utterly fixated on SAT scores ... so you give it your best shot and make sure you have a good list of schools to apply to. You've certainly got the rennaisance man aura going, and I would guess that more than one college is going to pick up on that.

Also - the essays really are important at Chicago, so give them your best shot. You may also wish to send in your poetry and a music cd.
