I got a 2150 on my SAT and an embarrassing 27 on my ACT. Almost all of my friends scored way better on the ACT than they did on the SAT with very minimal preparation. I got the exact same SAT score as one of my friends, but she got an amazing 34 on the ACT. I'm starting to think there's something wrong with me. Isn't the ACT supposed to test how well you did in school? Did I just not absorb as much as my friends and peers?

It's worth noting that I studied way more for my SAT than my ACT. I took ACT in a rush in senior year around application time. Could that have been the reason I didn't do as well?

In a few years, your SAT/ACT scores will not even matter to people. It won’t be a topic of conversation at all. Your SAT score is great as it is, don’t worry. Many people don’t even take the ACT – that is worth considering :)

You spent more time studying for the SAT, so thats probably why your SAT score is a lot higher. Also, they are two completely different tests, so you should just stay happy with your SAT score. :)
