I sent a 2 to harvard!!

I had no idea I would get a 2. I was so confident I'd get a 5, if not, a 4 on the AP Lang test. I checked the score this morning and I was in complete shock. Honestly I opened the page and thought "....what? This is a joke, right?" English is my best subject. I always ace papers and my teacher was one of the best AP teachers you could ask for. People never get less than a 3 in her class. I knew I'd probably get no more than 35 of the 55 multiple choice correct (mc is my weakness) and probably straight 7s (out of 9) on all three essays, but that doesn't equal a 2 to me. Maybe not a 5, but certainly not a two. I'm BEYOND terrified that I've ruined my chances at acceptance. This happening never even occurred to me. GETTING A 2 was never even a consideration. I'm still in awe at how this happened, but it did, and now all I can hope is that the rescore will fix everything. What should I do!? I can't cancel it, and we all know that Harvard will see that two and laugh at my application. :(

How are your other AP scores? SAT? SAT II? ACT? ECs? Class rigor? Essay writing abilities? Recommendations? Personal circumstances? A single 2 will not kill your chances if everything else is up to par. By the way, I sent a 29 ACT to Princeton a few months ago, with a 25 in science. :D

Why did you sent an AP score to Harvard? Don’t you do that only after you are accepted?
