I should be studying right now.

Colleges:
Stanford(SCEA, wanted to go here since I was like 10)
MIT
Caltech
Berkeley
UT-Austin(Computer Science Honors Program)
Harvard

Ethnicity:Black
High School: Sends like 2 kids to top schools per year
GPA: UW=3.5ish and W=4.0ish
Rank:Around mark for top 10%, will probably be in top 10% by end of junior year
Not Sure if i'm low income: Mom makes like ~20k a year and gets ~10k a year in Child Support...Dad makes ~100k a year, but we're not really that close with my dad because he lived overseas most of my life.
SAT: 2280(800M,740CR,740W)
SAT IIs: Math2 800/Physics 800/USH 740
APs-5 on USH and CSAB,4 on Psych(self studied with my brother)

Senior year courses
Calc BC AP
Phsyics C AP
English IV AP(Literature)
Eco/Gov AP
Human Geography AP
Current Events course

ECs(Very Weak):
-Work close to 15hrs a week
-Tennis
-Ping Pong Club
-JA
-Volunteer at Hospital(Mainly last summer) ~200 hours since I started high school though
-Math Club/Mu Alpha Theta
-Computer Science

I think my essays will be really strong, and I have a couple teachers in mind that will probably right good recs for me

Another thing is that I have a huge grade trend because I just started doing my homework and stuff this year. Is this going to end up hurting me a lot, not caring about school early on has been one of my biggest regrets

I think you've got as good a chance as everyone else. If you can improve on your ECs or make 1 or 2 of them stand out a little more, then go for it :)

Your race will also help you. I think that if you improve your EC's you have a good shot.

What can I do to improve my ECs?
I think im gonna run for officer positions of Computer Science Club and Mu Alpha Theta, and im Vice President of Junior Achievement this year. What can I do to make them stand out?

You need to improve your GPA. I would say you have a decent chance if you can pull it up to a 3.7UW

tennischick035, do you have a particular passion for a sport or leadership position? Maybe you could start a club at school on something that interests you.

If there's anything that you're interested in and passionate about then go for it. You might discover something new about yourself in doing this.

I'm going to start the AMC at my school next year(not sure this matters), and for an EC could I do something computer-science related at a community college this summer?
