<p>Hello I am a high senior and was just wondering what you guys thought my chances are of getting into GW for the College of Arts and Sciences for the fall of 2011.</p>
<p>I attend a highly competitive public school in NJ that is consistenly ranked in the top 10 in the state. We send around 20 something kids to Ivies each year an many to top 25 schools.
About 20 something into GW each year
So I am a urm: African American male</p>
<p>Gpa: 3.4uw 3.6w</p>
<p>Course load: mostly honors classes and I have taken 3 Ap classes government, us history , and french</p>
<p>SAT: combined 1770 only two sections is 1190
Cr: 620 math:570 writing: 580</p>
<p>I think my essays were pretty good and I'm sure my recs were great my teachers both loved me.</p>
<p>As of now I was accepted into : Penn state university park
Temple Drexel Hofstra and university of Pittsburgh And rutgers new Brunswick </p>

<p>your SAT’s are kind of low for GW, but I would go for it. That said, you haven’t said anything about your EC’s. If you have good EC’s, you’ll have a better chance. and i don’t know your subject test scores either.</p>
<p>You should definitely apply! What is the worst that happens if you apply? You get rejected. BUT if you never apply, you’re also not going there. BUT, because there is a chance, you could get in!</p>
<p>Def apply! But whats your rank? And your activities? How’d you do on the AP tests? These things matter. </p>

<p>That’s true lol my ecs are mostly music related like concert n jazz band with first chair n leadership positions clubs like red cross n volunteering weekly at a hospital n being the leader of my youth ministry at my church basically starting it</p>

<p>you’ve got a chance…if your SAT was higher you would have been in better standing.</p>
