I shouldn've taken more AP courses

I feel like i should have taken more AP classes this senior yr
- i'm taking AP Physics, AP Studio Art, AP French -
but really, AP Gov and AP Chem and AP Bio i was unable to take b/c they were full and b/c of my january graduation status (it's a long story and there's no way i can go to school until june). AP Stats or AP Art Hist. i probably could've taken, but i never even considered taking them until it was too late to change schedules...
I'm not sure if my counselor addressed this in her rec letter, but do you think it will make a difference if she sends one to the school now, even though my application was all submitted for the Dec.01 deadline? Or would it be a nuisance to both her and the school?

On the other hand, i was pretty busy with extracurriculars: setting up a club (nearly 2 months..ha long story), organizing a volunteer event (with help) at my city, marching band tournaments (well i'm sure lots of ppl go through this too) and taking an online UC Berkeley course. I'm also very confident in my essays.

Do you think this will make up for the not-so "demanding" workload?

Thanks!

oh, apologies for the typo …should be “should’ve” :stuck_out_tongue:
well, does anyone have any thoughts abt this?

Heh. A note on your app is probably wise, but remember, “AP Courses do not a student make”

Nah, you don’t need to take more AP classes.

…

What you need is more IB classes :D

My S took AP Euro, AP Calc BC, AP Spanish (soph year); AP US History, AP English Language, AP Physics C, plus college level Linear Algebra (jr year); and AP Macroecon, AP Chemistry, AP English Lit, plus college level MV Calc.

Score: 10 APs (by test since Physics C is two tests), two college level math classes

Result: Rejected on Friday
