I submitted a supplement for a college on my common app list, but now I realized I don't want to apply there. Will they see and review my application if I don't pay the fee? Do I have to pay the fee because I submitted my supplement, even though I don't want to follow through and submit my common app and continue finishing my application?

Pleaseeeeeee help!!

I believe you can just stop right there if you choose to and leave your application incomplete. That way, it won’t be reviewed and you won’t be given a decision.

fledgling is right. You can also go a step further as a courtesy. Send an email or give a quick call to the admissions office to let them know about your decision. That way they can take you off their lists for future contacts and not continue to commit resources to pursuing you.

I dont know if the schools even receive the supplements if you only send that. For example, I sent a supplement to Fordham, after a while I realized I sent it EA and so I emailed them asking to switch it to RD. They emailed me back saying they had no records of any supplement or anything sent to them.

But even if they do receive it, whatever. it’ll just sit there.
