<p>I thought I had submitted my Common Application on time, but I think I messed up. I resubmitted on January 3rd. That one didn’t process either, because I checked back on January 5th. As far as I know, my application was then processed. The thing is, I panicked and didn’t have the sense to look at the descriptions. I saw squares instead of green triangles and immediately freaked out. </p>
<p>Right now, my application says “Downloaded 1/06/2011”. I haven’t been able to sleep for the past week. What’s happening to my application at the moment? Will they look at my application, or toss it?</p>
<p>If it says downloaded, I’m pretty sure that means Brown got it and has processed it into their system. Doesn’t hurt to call and ask–or just wait to check banner when they update everything.</p>
<p>Thanks! I’m just hoping that they’ll look through it and consider me. I already have an admission ID (or whatever it’s called) that they sent me through email. I emailed them back explaining my technical difficulties and asking for confirmation that my application will be read by human eyes. </p>
<p>I’m not familiar with Brown’s time zone and office hours. When is it most likely that someone will respond to my call? </p>
<p>Thanks to anyone who answers me, by the way. My insomnia is really bad because of this issue, and hearing from people would help me a lot.</p>
<p>Just call them tomorrow–I think they’re open by now. And if you have an admissions ID, can’t you check selfservice.brown.edu to track your application status?</p>

or from any of the other colleges i applied to…

<p>The Application Summary contains some of my information, but only the stuff that I listed in my supplement. There’s nothing from my Common Application. </p>
<p>Brown U is probably really busy right now. I’m sure you guys will get your ID in the next two weeks if you submitted on time (I submitted my application late, though I submitted my supplement early). </p>
<p>I’m still waiting on my Cornell ID, and I’m surprised I have a Brown ID.</p>
